Azoles

While PFAS is in our name, it is not the only contaminant we tackle. The CHIPS Act of 2022 has accelerated investment in domestic U.S. semiconductor production. As new facilities come online, manufacturers face a critical challenge: detecting trace levels of azoles like 1H-1,2,4-triazole and 1H-pyrazole in wastewater. These compounds are toxic to wastewater treatment bacteria and must be controlled below 0.05 ppm. Azoles pose risks to wastewater systems and public health.

We developed a new analytical method
to detect azoles like triazole and pyrazole at 0.05 ppm which uses a proprietary derivatizing reagent to enhance MS response. Our method achieves >90% accuracy and <5% variation
